Talking Boozer question

Okay, I am redoing induction because I cheated last weekend, but I was going to drink tonight. I know your body won't burn fat until all the alcohol is burt off, but will it kick you out of ketosis or anything.

NOPE Well depends on what you are gonna be having.. but any sort of spirit (whiskey, rum, tequilla, scotch, vodka) mixed with diet mixer.. is fine..

Try to stay away from Beer.. as it is carby and has been known to kick some out of ketosis..

HAPPY DRUNK CHICK FRIDAY

Remember also, if you test with the sticks to see if you are still in ketosis, they will probably turn color b/c of the alcohol in your system. So, you really won't know if you are in ketosis or not until all the alcohol is out of your system.

Thanks guys, I usually stick to Bacardi and diet coke, well unless I'm at a friends then I use diet rite. Too bad they don't have that at the clubs, I'd be in heaven.

I found out about Mojitos....was one of my favorite warm weather drinks last year.....this year thought I'd try one because well they have to be low carb right??? NO....I got mine and it tasted soooo sweet (they didn't taste that way before)...anyway, low and behold they are made with a sugar water....

Stay away from those doggies!!!

Ya know, I had never heard of a Mohito until I went to Cancun a few months ago and the guy I met drank nothing but mohitos, they look weird but taste good.

The reason the sticks are darker is from the dehydration the alcohol causes. You burn naturally about 1oz per hour.

Default Warning, Warning....

Just to give you a head's up...... you will not be able to consume as much alcohol as you did pre-LC! Most of us have found that it takes probably half as much alcohol consumption to reach a good "buzz" as we did before. My limit now is 2 glasses of wine, and I used to be able to drink a half bottle.

It will help if you also drink lots of water as you are consuming alcohol. It will mitigate the dehydration effects.

Oh, thanks, this isn't the 1st time I have drank during Atkins though, it is just the 1st time since I went on my 3 day binge and I just wanted to make sure that I won't ruin my weightloss or anything. Yeah, my hangovers aren't as bad as some but I go from okay to absolutely trashed within 3 drinks, all of a sudden it hits ya. I'm going to be at a cubs game and then out to the bars so I am really gonna have to pace myself.

Rasp Stoli and Diet Sprite.......Yummy and LC! The only thing I can add here is that I do tend to feel a little extra bloated the next day now than I used to but it doesn't stall me for more than a day.

LMAO.......How did I know Chelle would be here!

I just had a few too many barcardi/diet rites while watching the Dover race. It sure was fun though. The only thing that is bad is that the neighbors brought chips into our house (because we have the 62" tv) and while I am usually good and can keep away from potato chips the barcardi must have blurred my good judgement and everytime I went to mix a drink I had a handful. I am ashamed of mysel..... I haven't been doing well lately, in fact I have not lost any weight since the beginning of Dec. and am starting to feel myself getting weak when it comes to the junk food that got my weight this high in the first place! But tomorrow is another day and I will get back on track.....
