It's whatever you want it to be.

I would try to pick a time that has the best chance of being consistent from weigh-in to weigh-in. It's best to do the weighing first thing in the morning right after visiting the bathroom. That way you have had several hours of continuous rest and fasting. I picked Monday mornings for my "official" weigh-in because I have more control over my eating patterns on Saturday and Sunday (usually).

For people that can't get their mind wrapped around a good long-term perspective regarding weigh-ins, it is best to weigh-in veryinfrequently - biweekly or monthly or even every two months. I weigh and record every day but I have pretty well gotten myself to truly believe in only looking at the fairly long term trend - it has not been easy, but I think it has been very helpful.

Default re: weighing in..

OKay thanks. the one reason I asked is that I can fluctuate about 2.5 pounds from morning to night. I guess once a week is good enough then.

Again, thank you!!
