Whats the deal with this stuff? Does anyone know the net carbs on it, or if it is ok to eat?

I find the lactol they use doesn't upset my tummy as much as malitol. I can eat the dark chocolate ones without a problem.

If they effect your tummy or weight loss though is a different matter and only one you can answer.

The carbs should be listed on the package. If they're marketing it as sugar free, I'd be willing to bet the net carbs are listed on the package too. I looked on the Hershey's web site but couldn't find any info about that particular product. I was surprised to see how many carbs there are in regular chocolate.

I've pretty much given up chocolate. I don't find the substitutes taste as good as the chocolate I used to love. But on the positive side, I find I'm not craving it so much anymore.

I don't crave chocolate nearly as bad but have bought the Russell Stover candies for around 2.00 a bag at wal-mart. The pecan ones have 0.8 carbs per little miniature
cup , and one usually settles my craving.

I tried them and they were quite tasty, however they had me running to the potty! If they don't bother you, for a treat I'd assume, but since I'm still a sugar addict, I have to stay away!!

the peanut butter cups have hydrogenated oils in them and KILLED my stomach worse than anything I have ever known. I was literally up an entire night in pain.

Not only once but twice since I didnt learn the first time around lol and just wanted to make sure.

Anything with Lactitol makes me quite unpleasant to be near...unless you stand WAY upwind. The net carbs are low though, and if the SA's don't stall you, I guess they'd be okay.
