Hullo there Heidi, welcome!

We are all very different with different metabolisms, so it's hard to say exactly.

But it seems to be that most folk can expect to lose 10% of the weight they wish to lose followed by 5% per month after that.

This may seem slow, but low carbing is an eating plan for life, not a quick fix diet. Of course, you may well lose at a faster rate - as I said, we are all different.

Happy low carbing!

Rosebud

Heidi, don't forget to take measurements - you lose inches as well as lbs on Induction. You might also lose your PMS symptoms, your headaches, your body aches and pains and your raging out-of-control-carb-induced-hunger

Nat

....and your heartburn. Have no idea how to explain it - eating really-really fatty yummy things, but I forgot what heartburn is. And I've suffered (REALLY suffered) with it for years and years and years.

I second, Nat, on the measurements! By measuring and recording my inches from chest, waist, hips, each thigh and each bicep, I have seen great progress and it's saved my sanity more than once. I went thru a spell with no lbs lost, but lost 5 inches during that time!

Good luck,

N.
