Does it take a while for finger nails to grow with this WOE?

I've actually found that mine grow faster and stronger. I assumed it was due to increased protein and proper vitamins.

I'm a biter too, so this is good news to me!

Cool My nails

My nails (and hair) grow like weeds, and so much stronger. I found by adding Flax seed oil and Coconut oil, my nails are so brittle either

DH even commented on how much nicer my fingernails are now. They used to be thin, weak, and "razor sharp". They are now apparently comfy back scratchers!

Cool! Another reason to stick to it! I hate my brittle icky nails ... I'm definitely going to try the flax seed and coconut oil thing as well...

I'm always learning new things here!

Default I love my nails now

Ever since I have been on atkins, I have had wonderful nails. I used to never grow nails, either they wouldn't grow or I bit them off. Now they are strong and grow like crazy. If one breaks, then it grows back within a few days. So, yes, atkins is great for you nails.

Ditto here! I just cut mine way down a few days ago, and already I see a couple centimeters of new growth! I agree that it must be the vitamins and protein consumption. Whatever it is, I'll take it.

Nails, hair and skin... all look better and the hair and nails grow much quicker! Someone complimented me on my nails the other day- I don't paint them and I keep them short. It blew me away! No one has ever complimented me on my nails before. They have always been UGLY in the past!

I have also started to notice my nails are much nicer than ever before, I was thinking maybe it was the Atkins vitamins! Never thought it could be the WOE!!!
I love this diet more and more each day
