Exclamation heavy cream????

hi all !, i have been reading some of the reciepies and some have heavy cream, what is that? kool-whip??? i just dont know, please help!!!

It is "Heavy whipping cream"....it usually comes in a cardboard container similar to the milk ones. And 9 times out of 10 it is right next to the milk in the cooler, thus the reason you have probably never paid much attention to it

thank you for the information, now i can enjoy alot of those recipies. so how do i use it , if it is like milk, do i pour it in a bowl and whip it until it thickens?? Hope this isn't a stupid question

It really depends on what you are making. Most of the time you just measure it out like milk and pour it in. If the recipe doesn't specify, then you would just measure it and pour it in.

You can whip it with some splenda to make your own cool whip too!

I had never done this before...but use a metal or glass bowl and chill it first. Then pour the cream in and beat till it fluffs
