Hi, Amani! Sorry you are having problems.
I never even knew I had a yeast problem, until I started low carbing. Then during induction, I felt HORRIBLE! The best way to describe it is that I felt like I had a hangover. After some research I discovered it is because the yeast is dying off. I did alot of research on Candida. I took the caprilic acid, and found it didn't help much. I am taking a product called Candistroy, and it is really strong, and seems to be working much better.
The symptoms of a yeast overgrowth vary from person to person, and depend alot on how long you have had it. You might want to go to google.com, and reasearch "candida". I can't put all the information on here.
The best thing to eliminate candida is to stop consuming all sugar and starch. Taking probiotics and anti-fungals is very important, as well. I am still getting rid of it after two months, but everday gets better. Your symptoms get worse before they go away. It is not a fun thing to go through, but it is not the end of the world.
Hope I didn't confuse you further. If you go down a few posts on this forum, there is one called "yeast fighters" Kent posted a very helpful link that will tell you all you want to know about candida.
Good Luck! Let us know how you are doing, and if you need anymore help, just ask!
