Default diastix ??

Iwas shopping for ketostix for the 1st time & the clerk at the Walmart pharmacy sold me Diastix, which I thought would be the same as Ketostix. But now that I am home & opened the box the color guide isn't pink to purple, it's light blue to brown. Did I buy the wrong thing?

Unhappy Yep. Sorry

There are ketostix, there are diastix, and there are keto-diastix (just to confuse you)

The diastix check for sugar in your urine. You don't want to see a reaction on those sticks!

Now that you're stuck with them, though, Dr. Bernstein did have a non-urine test he uses diastix for: if you don't know if food has sugar in it or not, chew some up and then put some saliva on the stick. That'll tell you. I haven't tried it myself.

The keto-diastix have two test spots right next to each other.

Best regards,
