Hi Betsy,

Are you taking any supplements?

I found L-Glutamine to be extremely helpful in preventing those dreaded sweet cravings. Chromium is also helpful.

When the urge to eat something sweet or "forbidden" hits, try eating a snack of some kind that's high in fat and protein. It helps!

Thanks ladies!! I KNEW I would get support on this site! I just cooked an omlet, but boy, it didn't quite hit the spot....I know that I just need to plug away, but it isn't getting easier...YET. I sure appreciate you all. It makes it better to know that others are going thru this too and haven't magically had the desire for icky food leave the second day!! You are all the best! Betsy

There are low carb chocolate bars available but most people that use them report having stalls because of them. I use them to satisfy my PMS chocolate cravings. In moderation of course
