Default The Opposite seems to be ture for me

My results after 3 months of LC are just the opposite. I can now eat a ton of carbs (like at thanksgiving) and not gain anything. I mean I ate potatos, squash, dressing, gravy, and pie and the next day and thereafter my scales didn't budge. That is something I never couold have done before LC.

Default I've noticed that too, somewhat...

I can eat something with sugar and I don't have a blood sugar crash anymore afterward, like I used to. I think our bodies are healing. The insulin resistance is going away (or whatever it is). I'm not going to eat grains or potatoes until I have reached goal, I know they are/were my biggest problem. Also, when I do have something sweet, more than 1 day in a row, I find I want it again, even if it's not like the cravings of old. I'm having that problem with afternoon Dove Promises right now. Just had my last 2 today, so no more temptation! It doesn't seem to hurt if I keep the qtys very low.

Be careful, it's insidious, and sneaks up on you when you least expect it. If you had a problem before, you will most likely have a problem in the future if you go back to your old eating habits.

Good luck!

Amy

That's what I do - I eat some "goodies" and allow myself a piece or two of chocolate a day - but by a piece, I mean ONE Hershey Kiss - or two at the most. It keeps those cravings satisifed, but like Ready said, you do have to be careful - if you're not the "self disciplined" type, it's probably best not to "go there", although anyone who can stick to a diet, usually is self-disciplined.
