Just wanted to introduce myself, my husband and I are both been on a low carb diet for 2 months. He has lost more weight then I have 22lbs vs 12lbs for me. The main food I miss is rice, we use to eat it a dinner 3-4 times a week. Does anyone have a suggest on what I should replace rice with for thing like curry, or other dishes that need something to soak up the sauce? Thanks LJC

Don't worry about your husband losing faster than you--men always do. I think you've done remarkably well. Way to go!

I've read somewhere that folks take a whole head of cauliflower and chop it in the food processor until it turns into small bits that look remarkably like rice. Some use it for fried rice and all sorts of things.

You'll find tons of tips on this site and more encouragement and support than you can imagine. Write often!
