when tortillas go bad

I have noticed that my lc tortillas actually NEVER go bad. I find this just a little frightening. What the heck is in these things?

Take comfort. I had a package once that actually got mold on it.

I cut off the moldy bits.

They ARE actually preservative free; it's a "clean" Ingredient List according to my local Health Food Store guy (and he's fussy).

They do only actually bake them on order, they are wrapped quickly and just don't hang around long enough to actually go bad very easily.

It doesn't hurt that they have NO added sugars and very low starches, the preferred foodstuff of most of the "bad" critters.
