Post new guy with a goal

ok, I have 7 months to lose 57 lbs....... I'm doing very well so far (I think) but I'm worried that I'm not doing things quite right. I eat all the right stuff and none of the bad, but I'm always hungry.....I eat more often like I'm supposed to but I'm just never full...... Anyone have tips or comforting advice? lol

well...I'll be around....I am the new guy

Hey PF,

I say if you're hungry, eat! I'd been interested to see your food intake for a day or two. Have you thought about starting a journal?

Are you working out a lot? That could also be causing an increase in your appetite.

Plus, check to make sure you are getting enough fat and calories (only saying this because you are on Atkins).

Best of luck to you.

Hey there! Something I noticed when I first started was that I was hungry ALL of the time. It was insane. And I ate like a pig. And know what? I still lost weight like crazy! Don't let the old traditional low-fat diets where you have to limit your food intake seep into your new WOE. Eat until you're full. Watch your carbs. Also, if you eat more fat, you'll be less hungry. When cooking add extra butter or oil. That should help.
