Angry Hello

Hi,
I just joined this forum. I'm from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and would like to share some information with other LC dieters.
I started my diet in June of this year and did very well for a while. At this point I'm totally stuck. Please help get me back on to success.

Welcome to the club!! You and I have similar stats and I've been vascillating between 156-158 for WEEKS now! If I had the magic bullet for you, I'd use it myself!!

This is my approach:

1) I know that as I get closer to goal, my body is more reluctant to let go of the fat.... after all, there's just a little bit left!! I've been pretty diligent in running my foods through fitday.com and watching my calories....keeping them between 1600-1800/day.

2) Now that it's finally cooler here in Texas, I'm going to be increasing my exercise, get back to some lifting and see if I can increase my LBM....get that metabolism stoked up!

3) I'm going to increase my carbs a little bit....stay closer to PP plan which says I should be eating 55 net/day. This is also to help me prepare for maintenance.... to increase my carbs wisely and not go ape!

4) I'm going to be patient.

5) Failing that.... well, I'll give it another 8 weeks and then see what I'm prepared to do.....maybe cut down on dairy quite a bit or eliminate it for a time.

You're welcome to visit my journal and we'll keep tabs on each other!

Have a great day!
