Can you please help me I need to convert stones to lbs to be able to keep up with you guys!

I go to another atkins site and a lot of the people talk about stones. I am always confused about the conversion. What is stones anyway?

Hello i go in a chat room and some people talk stones...

One stone =14lbs.... its another weigh people weigh them selfs...

Weight is measured in stones in the UK. 14 lbs. = 1 stone.

Default According to my online research

14 pounds equal 1 stone. So my ideal weight (130) would be about 9.2 stones...I think. ;o) Anyone else??
