Default You People Killed the Twinkie

I heard on the radio this morning, that Interstate Bakeries filed for Chapter 11. This outfit makes Wonder Bread and Twinkies among other products. The report attributed their financial woes partly to slumping sales, due to low carb dieting.

Twinkie murderers.

I can say with not one shred of doubt that a Twinkie has never passed my lips.

Are they good? I guess I shall never know.

That said, you simply must see The T.W.I.N.K.I.E.S. Project!

Default Funny--the chihuahua loves them

Little guy won't touch an anchovy, but he scarfed a discarded Twinkie before I could get to him!

I used to like them frozen.

I love Twinkies and I always will. I should buy some now and save them for when I'm 90 -- they'll taste just the same then.

They're like all sugar & starch stuff: you THINK they're good until they make you feel sick and then settle on your hips. Not worth the 13 seconds of pleasure.

RIP Twinkie

Your headline cracked me up.

I remember having a few Twinkies when I was a kid... but never in my life did I have a fresh one. They were always stale.

I guess along with Twinkie the Kid, this also spells the end for Fruitpie the Magician, and Captain Cupcake. This makes us mass murderers. . . maybe even cereal killers.

If we killed Twinkies, it was strictly self-defense.
They've been trying to kill us for years...

liked Twinkies when I was a kid, haven't had one in ages, they do always seem stale, don't they?

Cereal killers. I wish I'd thought of that. Best line of the day.

Hey Tommy, if we baked it, it would contain less fat and therefore be much healthier for you!
