Default PP or PPLP or both need advice

I'm a newby whose busily drinking forums and journals and already learning plenty. Does seem that whenever I ask a question I find there is already a forum or thread that would have given me the answer (sorry). I'm trying, but forgive me if I'm redudant. Already I've gotten good advice from Forum Folk and I've just become aware of protein power. So the question: I don't have either book PP or PPLP, but I think there's info there I need.
Should I buy both books or just one or the other; keeping in mind I've not read either.

Why don't you see if your library has a copy of either? I first read Protein Power from the library and then decided that I would own it someday. Someday came, I had a little extra money and was in a bookstore and now have my own copy of it. Later, I got PPLP. While I find PPLP to be good reading, I believe PP to be more useful in describing the eating aspect of the program.

If the library doesn't have it, you can get an interlibrary loan!
