hi wanabthin,

Somebody else asked this question recently, you can read the responses here.

I doubt the problem is your kidneys, since kidney pain is experienced higher up and to the sides (the flank area) not the lower back.

Do check the link I've given, and if the problem persists, you might want to visit the dr. to rule out a back problem. Hope you're feeling better soon.

hi wanabthin

I was asking the same question! I took note of the advice offered which was really supportive and am now taking magnesium suppliments. I couldn't find a potassium suppliment at my local supermarket but I read another posting that suggested NoSalt or Nusalt as this was almost all potassium. Hopefully that will help.

Good luck with the dieting.

When I ws on this plan 2 years ago I had alot of pain. I didn't exercise or take any of the suppliments.

This time I am taking suppliments, exercising and drinking tons of water. I feel great and haven't experienced any of the pains.
