Default Atkins Hot Cereals

Has anyone ever tried any of the Atkins hot cereals they have 3 grams of carbs per serving and they also have different flavors. I would like to know how they taste before I put out the money for them as I have tasted other brands of hot cereals that were low carb and they tasted nasty.

I have never tried them; I've found it easy and less expensive to make my own hot cereal from flax seed meal.

1/2 c golden flax seed meal (tastes more "delicate" than the darker seed meal)
1/2 c hot H2O (more if you like)

Then just whatever else you like in there. I use Splenda, a pat of butter, cinnamon...whatever. Sometimes I use SF maple syrup.

It's good stuff, I know what's in it and it's less expensive than the readymade. You might want to give it a try...

Post atkins hot cereals

I have tried them and I have to say that they are very tasty. My favorite flavors are the sweet maple and the regular flavor.

If you are going to try them, I would suggest trying the variety pack which has six different flavors and then you can decide which flavors that you really like. A serving is one pack and it is pretty filling.
