Default I know this is kinda silly but....

I know this is kinda silly but, I have frequently become constipated on this WOE And so to help a bit, I eat hot cherry peppers, ( don't laugh they work) besides i've been eating them for years, I really like them, I was astounded to find out that they are high in carbs, and they are not very big. I can't understand why, because regular peppers are not very high. Anybody know anything about this ?

The main reason is simply the relative water content of the two varieties. Most vegetables are mostly water (just like us) and so the amount of carbs per 100g of substance is strongly dependent on how much water is there.
