Hi! People will tell you no alcohol on Atkins, particularly during induction (I don't know what phase you're in).
Some people lose while drinking clear spirits, some stall.
Another case of YMMV.
This way of eating has to work for a lifetime, so I choose to drink when I want to, generally vodka & seltzer.
I don't know if it slows my loss, because my thyroid is hypo and we're still trying to regulate it.

Alcohol is not allowed during induction, nor is any type of juice, lite or not (and how you'd figure that it wouldn't have any carbs would have to be pretty...creative..)

You just made a post about losing 5lbs the first week, so I'd recommend you stick to plan, and not derail yourself so early in your journey.

I agree with Krys, its a big Atkins No..No.. to have any alcohol during induction, but for myself, after I had been in induction for at least a few months and the occusion arose, I would have a vodka & diet 7-up. It never seemed to stall me or cause much grief, but everyone is different. I just started back at it again, and as much as I might want to have a drink, I wont, which is still the best option. Its always a risk...but its yours to take.

Just my 2 cents.

Order a sparkling water with ice and a slice or two of lemon or lime and carry on enjoying your weightloss journey without self sabotage!!
