Default Carb-cycling?

Can someone please explain the concept of carb cycling to me? I have noticed that if I am sticking to an induction type menu my weightloss seems to be slowed but if I have a day where I up the grams of carbs, the next morning I witness a pretty good loss. This has happened everytime I have upped them. So, it was making me wonder if I should go back and forth with the carbs or just up them altogether all the time. And, it made me wonder if this was what carb cycling is.

There are several threads in the Semi-low carb section here: http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?f=138

If you have been on Atkins for a month, which it looks like you have, you should think about moving into OWL and adding some carbs back in. A lot of people lose well this way, myself included. Just sayin
