Seasonings for the Dieter
If you are like me, you just love to add salt and other spices to your foods. BUT, if you're on a LC diet, this isn't the best thing to do. I want to use this space to recommend using salt-free spices and seasonings to add to your food. A great salt substitute is NuSalt which uses Potassium instead of salt...it tastes great and you get your dose of potassium too. Also, I would recommend Mrs. Dash's seasonings or McCormick's seasonings to add to chicken, tuna, fish, salads, steamed veggies--anything. They are 100% salt free and really give the boring chicken and fish a kick. Hope this could be of help to some of you!
