Default Don't have any energy

hi there,

I keep reading about peoples surge of energy from LCing...I have been attempting this for two weeks now...i do it for a couple days and feel very tired and icky, and then i give up on my LCs...I guess I should try to hold out for a few more days and maybe then i would get over the icks...but its tough

Is there any advice for getting my energy up during induction? Should I be taking vitamins or something to help?

Thanks!
liss

Default low energy on lc

Hi there,
I have found that if you are healthy, are drinking enough water, and taking your vitamin suppliments and your carbs are right, L-carnatine helps immensley. It's a vitamin suppliment as well. I find the liquid is the most economical, however, you may find the pills to be easier.
I'll check back to find if anyone has any other suggestions as I am always looking for more healthy energy!
Thanks,
Murpel

Yes, you should be taking a general multivitamin. Also, to help you get over your icks more quickly and for better health, you should take some potassium (you can get it in salt substitutes like half salt and no salt), and a calcium/magnesium supplement. Also, many people have had good luck with chromium piccolinate, including me. However there has been some people here that have posted articles that it may not do all it's supposed to. However, in my experience, it really works to reduce cravings and helped me to stay on the program.

Drinking plenty of water 64 oz. plus, is also recommended. Get your supplements and plan on two weeks where nothing is going to stop you from trying this way properly.

It took me several tries to get started on this plan as a way of life. But I'm so glad that I finally got on track and found a way of eating that I could live with and feel good while doing.

Believe me, it's worth it!

You can find the amounts and when to take dosage information for Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium here, Liss.
