Hi there....

I am aware of Hydroxycut, but I have no interest in taking it because of the Ma Hung in it. I believe that Ma Hung - Ephedra.

This is their disclaimer from their website:

"WARNING: Do not use if you are pregnant or nursing, or if you have been treated for or diagnosed with, or have a family history of, or have any indication of, high blood pressure, cardiac arrhythmias, heart, liver, kidney, thyroid or psychiatric disease; psychosis, bipolar disorder, stroke, recurrent headaches, pheochromacytoma, diabetes, anemia, glaucoma, nervousness, anxiety, depression, seizure disorder, or difficulty in urination due to prostate enlargement. Do not use if you are using monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors; ephedrine, pseudoephedrine or phenylpropanolamine (ingredients found in certain allergy, asthma, cough/cold and weight control products); or any other prescription or over the counter drugs, or other dietary supplements containing ephedrine. Consult your doctor before starting any diet or exercise program. Discontinue use and consult your doctor immediately if you experience, shortness of breath, sleeplessness, tremors, dizziness, nausea, nervousness, headache, rapid heart beat, tingling sensations, or other similar symptoms. Stop taking 10 days before surgery. Do not take additional caffeine with this product. Improper use of this product and/or exceeding the recommended use may cause severe adverse health effects including heart attack and stroke. Not to be used by, or sold to, people under the age of 18. The maximum dose of ephedrine for a healthy adult is not more than 100 mg, per 24 hours, for no longer than 12 weeks. Stop use for 2 weeks after 12 weeks of continuous use. Use only as directed. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.~
This product has 20 mg of concentrated ephedrine alkaloids per serving in the form of herbal extracts, and 200 mg of caffeine per serving."

Doesn't sound like something I want to put in the body that I'm trying to get healthy.

Marlaine
