Smile Hi from another Aussie

I started on the Atkins program a few weeks ago and am amazed for the first time in years I am actually losing weight. It has been a huge mental struggle trying to undo the low-fat, high-carb programs that I have been brainwashed into believing was the 'only' way to lose weight. I have lost over 20 lbs in a few weeks and have a long way to go, but I think I have finally found the right program for me. I know from the messages that I have already read on this site that it will be a huge inspiration for me along the way.

Your'e absolutely right about the low fat diet info that has been fed into everyone for years, I mean if it worked then why are more and more people getting fat !!

Default hi

I still have a hard time believing that this WOL will work...LOL but it does. I have never been able to stay on a diet for more than 6 months [ except when I was on diet pills which screwed me up bad] The difference this time is I dont feel deprived and I made the decision a long time ago I would eat like this for the rest of my life. Good luck!!
