Question "Carbo" Digestive Aid

I need a copy of "HealthFood Stores for Dummies" --
They saw me coming.............

Went in looking for some flour and stuff, because I want to make some recipes and I guess the SUCKER sticker was on my forehead!! LOL

I asked one simple question and ended up getting a lecture about the evils of Atkins, enzymes, Ananlaze (sp) and handed a bottle of this stuff. Supposedly to help with simple and complex carbs. Have no clue -- does anyone?

Mind you, double degreed in College, doubled degreed MBA - relatively intelligent profession -- becomes clueless when entering store..............

Also, asked a question about something for my daughter and the lady owner went off and running and I did not catch a word.......

Ended up $50 lighter............ and confused AND still no flour. Thought I would share some laughter with you.

Boy can I relate to that! I think you have to go thru it once to learn to speak up and not buy something you don't want or will never use. Trust me Pam, it's really easy to get assertive with pushy staff so you don't walk away broke. Just remember one thing. When you get those lectures, you are the one that has the upper hand, because you've educated yourself.
