Seagull is correct. Pain is not normal at any time. Best get yourself to a doctor to find out what's going on.
Hope you feel better soon!

there is such a thing as drinking to much water. If you arent doing a heavy work out you dont need to drink a gallon of water a day. See the doc.

Default have you been eating sugar free candy?

When i first started, i tried alot of the sugar free candy which had sugar alcohol in it and within sec i would have a bad pain in my left side with gas i could not have it went on for every 3 secs and it just killed me. It was not until few days later that i noticed it was the candy.

hmm....i haven't had any sugar free candy at all, so that is definitely not the problem...i am wondering if it is from all the protein i am eating and my kidneys are not used to it and are trying to adjust??? hmm...anyways...if the pain doesn't go away by monday i will definitely go see the doc...

In a similar thread a little while ago, someone's doctor told her that ketosis can cause some mild pain/discomfort in the back area. I experienced that for a few days when I first began induction, mostly when I was working on a BM. But, it should not be a sharp pain, and it's always a good idea to have anything unusual checked out.
