Default Fiber supplements.

My mom bought me "Citrucel". which is a daily fiber supplement, but it doesn't say whether it contains carbs or not. Does anyone else use this?

All fibers are carbs... but it is carbs in a form that your body cannot digest/absorb. So it will actually slow the absorption of digestible carbs into the bloodstream.

Personally I prefer to get my fiber from the foods I eat, fruits and vegetables are loaded with it, rather than taking massive doses from these supplements. But if your diet is not giving you enough, then supplements are a way to go.

The Citrucel caplets have zero carbs according to
this site.

Cheers.

I personally opted for the sugar-free Metamucil powder instead....to get me to drink more water. I'm only using it about once a week now, but I'll have about 2tbsp mixed in 16oz water, sometimes crystal light.
