i so wish it was that easy. i'm not being mean, i promise, i just know how you feel. some people lose a pound a day, some none, it just depends on you and your body. i feel for you.

welcome, and we are all glad you are here. good luck to you and don't stop because you don't have instant results, the long term results are amazing.

Default 9 days...

I've been on Atkins for 3 weeks today and I've lost 11.5 lbs. I had a brief miny vacation from it (for about 3 days), so maybe I could have been lower wieght by now, but I happy with my progress.

After a week in a half of Atkins, you should be able to notice a difference. I telling you a little secret (lol) DRINK LOTS OF H2O. I've heard your body can store up to 9 lbs of excess h20. I drink 100 oz. plus a day. It may seem like a lot, but my body craves it now that I'm LCing. I got a great water bottle and keep it filled at all time

Atleast for me, the first thing to change has been my tummy, it's flatter and at about two and half weeks in, I noticed my love handles shrinking. My hips have also shrunk I think my arms will be the last to slim down, but I think if you're looking for tummy progress you'll do just fine in a week and a half. I know everyone is different, but it's seems like most people lose weight pretty easily (in the beginning).

Make sure you also take some supplements (b/c you're flushing your system out with all that H2O), I also take a diet pill that I think helps with my weight loss.

Good luck

Hey can i ask if i dont see any change in measurements of my waist line and my scales.....but I see firmer arms and legs....does that count??

Does it ever occur to you that those love handles or wriggling arm fats are slowly disappearing yet my waistline n scales dont change?

I am not sure if I am still losing weight, getting somewhat worried.
