Smile Hello from Jennifer Chandler!

This is my first entry on this message board. Just wanted to give a little intro to myself and some hopes I have for this New Year. I am in my early thirties and a mom to 3 children. I am not very tall so the added weight that I have been lugging around is awful. I was a small & skinny kid, but once puberty started I put on weight easily. I was average in H.S. and college and was able to lose 20lbs before my wedding-10 years ago. I am now 60lbs heavier than I was the day I got married. I feel tired, cranky and miserable a lot of the time. My kids are young and very active, they deserve a mom who can keep up. Anyway, I'm giving the low-carb life a shot. I've dabbled in it before, but w/o a lot of success. I'm hoping my will-power and zest for a better life wins this battle once and for all. Thanks for listening.

Howdy do Jennifer

Welcome aboard and best of luck on your weight loss journey.

There are alot of wonderfully inspiring stories around here you may want to take a look at the success thread, it will blow you away. Great to look at too when you're feeling down or you have the munchies, find out how other people have dealt with their troubles and what made them successful.

You may also think of starting your own journal here, so that people can visit you there and see how you're doing and offer help and advice if you need it.

Take care
