Default October Workout Challenge

I am about to embark on my 31 day, October Workout Challenge. I am going to the gym EVERY day in the Month of October. As of now I am at 224, and my next mini-goal is 215 by October 17th (Family Reunion)! WOOT WOOT! Anyone interested in joining??

Ooh, I'll join! In my case I'll amend it to "work out every day" since I'm at work when my gym is open Friday-Sunday.

I'll be very careful not to over-work-out and hurt myself. This is a great way to hold myself accountable.

I'm in. I am keeping my exercise goals the same as last month, with a few modifications.

Do weight training 4 times a week.
Cardio in some shape 5 days a week
Work on increasing efficiency of workouts

I am currently at 157. I won't make a goal for my weight- but I want to see a noticible difference in my body by the end of the month.

Good to see I have some company for this....thanks.

Didn't get to the gym for very long yesterday, but made up for it by dancing for 2 hours straight. Hosted a school dance last night...it was a blast!

Workout
~20 minutes cardio (eliptical)
~2 hours dancing
~2 hours setting up and cleaning after the dance

Look forward to hearing from everybody....have a good weekend!

Thursday:
Weight Training (20 mins)
Elliptical cardio (20 mins)

Friday:
Weight Training (30 mins)
Cardio (20 minutes)

The weekends are my off days, especially this weekend. TOM just arrived and I feel like crap. LOL.

Workout for Saturday
~25 minutes on the elliptical machine
~15 minutes running on treadmill
~10 minutes on stairclimber
~10 minutes on the stationary bike

Tried the stairclimber out today...it really gives you a workout. TTYL.

~5 minutes on stairclimber

My big problem is water...I think that is what's behind my weight fluxuations...anyway, I'm up to about 100-120 ounces a day...

Monday:
elliptical (30m)
Weight train upperbody
3 Ab exercises

Tuesday:
elliptical (35m)
Weight train lower body
3 Ab exercises

Tomorrow should be a rest on weights and cardio only. Will let you know...

Back down to about 220, which is 45 pounds now! I have been focusing on the water issue....

I'm relatively new too - can I join in.

I have one rest day a week. I want to lose 2 more kgs (4.4lbs) by 25 October.

so far this month

1 Oct
AM cardio

2 Oct
PM - Weights - gym

3 Oct
AM - Walk 15 mins (on the way to watching my sister in a duathlon)

4 Oct
PM - Weights and interval training (running)

5 Oct
AM - cardio

6 Oct
AM - cardio

2/4 cardio workouts.
0/3 WT workouts.

I haven't had time to get to the gym this week, so I might not complete my WT goals for this week.

~25 minutes running
~15 minutes eliptical

Friday
~50 minutes cardio

Saturday
~40 minutes cardio
~20 minutes lift

Sunday
~30 minutes cardio

Monday
~30 minutes eliptical
~15 minutes stairclimber
~10 minutes running
