Default Fiber on Induction

How many grams of fiber do you eat per day on induction? Fitday tells me i'm getting about 3 which seems really low. Eating lots of eggs & meat and 3 cups of romaine lettuce. As I understand I can't have more than 3 cups of salad or 2 cups salad & 1 cup veggie. When i don't have the 3 cups romaine I substitue asparagus with dinner. Any suggestions?

Hi

You might be getting more fibre/fiber (different spelling in Canada) than fitday says, because I think lettuce has more fibre than that. I don't *need* as much fibre as some people do, but you and I probably had the same amounts. You could check DANDR for digestable carbs in various lettuce types, and choose one that has more fibre.

its almost impossible to get the RDA of 25-30 grams of fiber during induction, you will need to supplement with fiber capsules or flax seed or things like that to get your fiber up.
