Post Hmmmm, stupid question from a newbie

I am ashamed to say, that for dinner, I had a 16 oz of water at a restauraunt with lemon, and i snuck a sweet n low packet in it. I'm in my 3rd induction day (lost 4 pounds!)....that's not considered cheating is it????

Also, wouldn't mind someone critiqing my daily menu (one of you good ol' seasoned members) to see if I'm on the right track.

For instance, today for breakfast (OK I KNOW) 1 small, tiny, itsy-bitsy cup of caffinated coffee and 2 hard boiled eggs....finished about 32 oz of water by 11am
Lunch: Cheeseburger with mustard and white onions wrapped in a leaf of lettuce...and about 16 oz of water
Dinner 6oz halibut with garlic and lemon butter, some green beans, and that 16 oz of water with a lemon in it with the "on the downlow sweet n low"

But here's the catch, im stuffed (from the water mainly) but im CRAVING SOMETHING ELSE TO SNACK ON , maybe it was those cinnamon rolls that they offer for dessert there, I didn't eat em, i took them home for my mom, that got me just a hankerin' for something sweet...What can I do for strong cravings to where I won't give in...?

Please someone help.
Shar

Cream cheese with Splenda and cinnamon. Some people even microwave it. Cream cheese with cocoa and Splenda.
Sugar free Jello maybe with some whipped cream

Thanks Barb!

I actually liked cream cheese and sugar mixed together, (when i was allowed to have sugar ha!) and the cinnamon, well thats different but I will definately give it a try. See, this is what im confused on...I thought since this induction thing, if I read the book correctly, that anything SUGAR was prohibited.
Please correct me?

Shar

Sugar, yes, but artificial sweeteners, no. The packets are limited to three a day, and are usually counted as a gram of carbs each (due to the fillers that make them "powdery")

I think you are hungry because you are not eating a whole lot. You could work a few more veggies in. I understand not being hungry because of the water intake -- don't stop that though, you need the water. But if you are hungry --eat something.

Lot's of people will tell you that coffee has not hurt their loss, but YMMV. I think it's ok, and with a little cream added, it helps me to add fat to breakfast.

Things like putting some mayo on your burger can help you get in some satisfying fat without taking up a lot of stomach volume.
