Your goal is pretty much the same as mine. You'll find a full list here: http://atkins.com/Archive/2001/12/15-464579.html This is from the Atkins site. If you've not read the book, you really need to - it's incredibly important to do this right.

Make sure you get PLENTY of veggies and don't hit the cheese too hard (keep it under 4 oz a day). Drink tons of water - like this: Take your weight in pounds, divide it in half, and drink at least that many ounces a day. You won't loose if you don't. Be sure to take suppliments (check the nutrition & supliments forum) as that's important as well.

Do please buy the book and read it several times. Or borrow it from your local library.

You aren't really 'doing a plan' if you haven't read the book that tells you how to do it. Reading the book will tell you what to eat and answer questions that haven't even occurred to you yet. Reading the website is a good start but you need to have the information available. Hope it works out well for you.

Start with the book, either buy, borrow, or look on line. You will find a lot of info here in the forum, but until you read the book you won't know how to use the info for YOU

All the allowed foods and how to do the Atkins plan are in his book. I consider it a must-have for me to do the plan the right way.
It's only a few dollars at Walmart. Good luck.
