When I started Atkins, I started in the morning of the first day. Each day's food is counted from the time I get up in the morning until I go to bed that night, so no, I don't think you need to just not eat carbs after midnight tonight because you're starting in the morning. However, your body won't mind if you pass them up!

great for you it dont mater when or where you start just do it.
you will find atkins is easy to do, if your hungry eat stay under 20 carbs a day eat before you get hungry. keep food allowed around you at all times such as boild eggs. and dont stop till you lose all you want to lose. and i dont care what anybody said there aint no cheat days. you could be where you want to alot faster than you think!!

Midnight -is it time for New Years again?

I start out my morning with a cooked breakfast and take my lunch-habits I fall out of too often.
Toast your new resolve with a big glass of water and get going!

It doesn't matter when you start, as long as you stick to it and keep going on the path once you have taken your first step, come here often to keep motivated and everyone here will help when you feel week or have questions.

Just get going down the path, and pretty soon you will be able to look back and see where you ONCE were and are no more, it is a great little trip to take, and everyone here will help you along the way.

the thing I notice about starting a diet is that it doesn't matter where or when you start the temptations come immediatly.

the week I started we had 3 birthday parties, neighbors inviting us to a belgun waffle party, and a award banquet put on by the utah resturant association!! talk about temptations, I thought I was going to go crazy!! LOL

BUT I know it doesn't matter when you start...just stick to it!!

If you feel "off" for the first two weeks, its totally normal. Your body is switching from being a carb burning disel engine to a fat burning jet engine.
