Unhappy Cream Cheese????

So the list of Phase I foods says that we can eat cream cheese substitute. What is this and where can I find it? Would low fat or non fat be ok? Also, is neufchatel the same as cream cheese or different? If it is different can we eat it? I'm so confused. I read the book, but it seems to be vague on a lot of things and i dont want to pay for the web site. Thanks for any help!

Sara

I use the neufchatel cheese which is a reduced fat cream cheese. The cream cheese substitute is probably the vegan version (dairy free) cream cheese that you can get at a health food store. Better than Cream Cheese is the name of one I used to buy I think. If you eat dairy though there is no reason to go for the alternative.
