Default wouldn't it be nice if the phase was listed on the box?

I went to the store today and was going to buy a box of the Atkins breakfast bars for myself to use as snacks on occasion. Now being still in induction I had a dilema. I forgot if they were allowed on induction. I bought them anyhow thinking if I can't have them now I'll save them. But it sure would be helpfull if that info was listed on the package like it is online. Needless to say I went online and saw that I CAN have them, on occasion of course. Just my rant for the day.

I think there is a little four colored sqaure that says 1,2,3,4
for the different phases.
Now that is Atkins Nutritional Co's take on induction-and they are the ones Selling the bars.
Many folks think sugar alcohols, soy, dairy ie whey should be used after the first round of induction the 2weeks. Others added these right away.

The atkins site promotes their products relentlessly, sometimes even if they won't exactly help with the diet. A lot of people here will tell you to stay away from the bars and convenience food, especially during induction, because that stuff seems to have a tendency to hinder weightloss.

I ate 1/2 a bar. I really don't feel too bad about it. Besides, if it hinders progress then I won't eat it. But I am looking at the box and there is no 1234 on it anywhere. I know what your talking about. It's how they identify it on the website. I think this is the "new" box because it says "new look same great taste" on the box. Maybe the did away with the little 1234 on it.

My box of Morning Start Bars doesn't have what phases it's suitable for on it either.

Remember that Mrs. Atkins sold the company and now has nothing to do with it or its products. Even the Atkins Center in New York is closed. So the Atkins site & the Atkins products are just a company selling stuff. I really wonder if they are following the rules that Dr. A. would have wanted? Before he died, bars were not on Induction. But since last year, they are.
