Default newbie but not so new

Hi all, I am new to this board but not new to the low carb woe....My weight has always fluctuated, I don't remember a time when it didn't....I seemed to be able to keep my weight under control until I had my daughter...I gained alot of weight while pregnant with her and didn't lose much of it after I had her.....from that point on I just kept gaining.....when Phen Phen was made available I was very skeptical but most of my friends went on it and lost a ton of weight, so I went on Phen Phen and lost all of myweiht..a total of 70 pounds...I lived on water and rice krispy treats the whole year I was on phen phen..I never worried about what was going to happen when I went off the pill and never thought twice about what I was eating...I was never hungry, I just craved sweets and was so thirsty all the time that i drank a ton of water every day..When they took phen phen off the market I had to stop cold turkey..I can say that I was addicted to the pills.....It was a nightmare, I started gaining my weight back very fast and went through some serious emotional issues...In a nut shell I think that I was psychotic for about a year after I went off the stuff...In that year I gained all 70 pounds plus over the next 2 years I gained another 40.....
One of my friends told me about the lowcarb woe and I started going to this clinic that taught it and monitored you during your program, I quickly lost 30 pounds and was doing well...I was having some problems in my personal life and went off the program and gained it all back..

Now, 2 years later and alot of work in my life, things are finally good, except my weight. The girl that does my hair is on the South Beach diet and she has done very well on it, I did buy the book but Ithink it is tohigh in carbs. I have decided to go back to the lowcarb woe and make it a life change not just a diet..

I will be starting my new woe tomorrow (sunday) and I am very excited to get my weight undercontrol. I have 100 pounds to lose and I know that I can do it.

I am so glad that I found this website, I think that reading the posts will help me so much, I hope to get alot of encouragment and support here.

nothing tastes as good as being thin feels.
