Default Sodium - FitDay

For those of you who use FitDay would you mind sharing your sodium counts? I'm wondering what say today (or any other single day) was and what it is if you do a report for the past week.

Thanks,
Alli

HOLY COW!!!!!!!! I had never looked at mine before but it's around 3000 a week when averaged. I use a lot of soy-meat products though which I am in the process of eliminating from my diet. That and cheeses would be the main sources of my sodium because pretty much everything else is fresh veggies or fruit.

Average over the past few weeks = 3300. BUT. If you read the ingredients in many of the foods, they count salt added during cooking. There are only 1/2 dozen or so foods I add salt to, either when cooking or when eating. Since I eat few processed foods and add little salt, I doubt I really take in anything close to 3000 mg!

It is advised that we eat no more than 2400 mg a day. I try to keep mine way down from that too.
