Default question on sf/ff/jello

What is the problem with sf/ ff jello?? I have read numberous times on the forum NOT to eat it..why??? if it has 0 carbs...then how is it bad??? if it is because of the aspartane causing the carb cravings BUT ya have control on that then what is the problem??? Can anyone give me an answer??? It would be sooooo appreciated...Byrdie

Aspartane is the culprit to stay away from when low carbing, mainly because of the stalls is causes. If you have the book by Dr. A...the updated version, you'll find that he doesn't recommend anything with Aspartane or Saccharin in it because they can effect your blood sugar. If you want something sweet and you're past a clean 2 week induction I suggest using a plain gelatin and buying splenda to make your own jello or SF products. Just watch that your use of Splenda is limited in all foods too to help curb your sweet tooth if you have one like me. Best wishes and hope this helps a bit.

I eat s/f jello and it doesn't cause me to stall or give me cravings for other sweets. I think it's a YMMV kind of thing.

Oh, the other thing to check is the sodium level in it. If you're sensitive to that, I mean.
