Lightbulb Cream Cheese Ideas

Hello Everyone!!!

I read on here that celery with cream cheese is a good snack. I tried it and I absolutely loved it. In fact I am eating it right now at work.

What are some other interesting creations/ideas using cream cheese?

I soften mine in the microwave and mix in some DaVinci's (Amaretto is my favorite flavor for this). I occasionally add some peanut butter or strawberries. Just eat with a spoon...tastes like cream cheese icing!

I don't even eat meat and still think one of the best ideas someone had was the 'fat bomb' which is a thick slab of cream cheese wrapped with proscuitto (not sure on spelling of that). I know at least my husband thinks thats the best way to eat cream cheese.

I take:
2 8oz packages of cream cheese (Philadelphia brand)
1 package sugar free jello
1 cup boiling water

Blend all ingredients in a blender, and then pour into little tupperware containers or cupcake holders. Once it hardens, it takes like cheesecake!!! I also sometimes add a few almonds to the top of it....

If I'm calculating correctly, the whole amount is 16 carbs. So I break it up into 4-8 servings.

I think the proscuitto is some kinda of smokey pig product. I'm sorry I don't eat it so I am not totally sure I just know it smelled like it was smoked or something. Maybe it's something like ham? I just know my husband absolutely went bonkers over it.

Default Cream Cheese Idea

I also love cream cheese; I could eat the whole block just plain. I've gotten those pressed meats that come in a little plastic wrap. I use the beef and take 2 slices (they're thin) and add sliced cream cheese, roll it up and you have a great afternoon snack. The pressed beef is 2 carbs for the whole package which has 10 slices.

Too bad we can't have crackers with the cream cheese that is really good. Has anyone tried the Atkins crackers? Are they any good?

Another good snack is to take a low carb tortilla, spread half of it with cream cheese, top with Splenda and cinnamon, fold over, and heat in the microwave. It's delicious!

Another cream cheese/lc tortilla idea:

Mix cream cheese with a little bit of salsa, cumin, a sprinkle of cheddar and spread on tortillas. Roll up, chill and slice. It's easy to eat too many of these though.

I can't even buy cream cheese any more. I love it too much and can also eat it plain, but love it best mixed with equal, a dash of lemon juice, a tbsp of heavy cream, and vanilla. OMG, tastes like a really thick cheesecake.
