Default Trioral mouthwash..bad breath...anyone tried?

Hi...I just saw a bit of QVC and they were selling Trioral mouthwash which is supposed to stop bad breath caused by the release of sulfur produced from bacteria eating protein (from foods) in your mouth.

The web site doesn't say anything about this getting rid of ketones breath...but it could help since I think some of my bad breath comes from eating adequate protein.

Has anyone tried this? Have you had any luck with getting rid of ketosis breath?

If so, did you get it from QVC? The QVC autodelivery price ($36 + $4.95 s&h) appears to include two bottles of wash (one bottle each of formulas 1 & 2 that you mix together), one 6-oz TriOral whitening toothpaste, one pack of TriOral sugar-free mints, one 60-piece TriOral gum pack, two pump bottles.

On the Trioral autodelivery web site for $39 + $4 s&h, you get 4 bottles of wash (two of each formula) and a pack of mints.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!!!!

Well, I went ahead and ordered it from the Trioral site -- I have to do something to reduce my dependence on chewing gum and it's sugar alcohols.

I'm still interested in hearing other people's experience with this product.

Wow that sounds expensive. A good toothbrushing at lunch would work as well and regular mouthwash.

Default Sugarless gum has those nasty sugar alcohols....

Trioral is supposed to work continuously for 24 hours and be even more effective than normal mouthwash and brushing your teeth and tongue. It is supposed to be some new technology. Supposedly, it binds to any bacteria that are in your mouth and don't let them produce sulfur. It is also supposed to prevent morning breath completely. We'll see...yes, it's expensive, but I really have to do something about my ridiculous gum chewing habit. I already brush my teeth and tongue three times per day, floss once a day and use regular mouthwash.

Once you get it, can you let us know what the ingredients are? I'm curious.

I'm skeptical, though: ketones are excreted directly from your lungs, and I don't see how a mouthwash could interfere with that process.

I hate ketosis breath - I call it dragon breath. The only thing that helps is lots of water and good oral hygeine, at least in my case.
