I know--that's here--but in my very own journal all is frozen solid!

I think this is due to Internet Explorer settings, there's an option to enable or disable animation.

I can see the smilies in your journal and they're all animated.

Strange.

It's weird, because the smilies here are dancing about, but in my journal when I look at them, they are frozen solid--not just mine: Monique's pendulum, Anna's fish...
everything...
I use a Mac. that have anything to do with it?
Pammie suggests defragging, and I might try that (I think it's just disk repair), but it is weird that when you read my journal, the smilies are animated and when I visit my journal, they are not.

My solution this AM:
Usually, I click on my favorites toolbar, and go into my profiles setting right away, so I can see who's posted among the journals I usually read.

This morning, I got to the forum and logged out. It told me all the cookies were gone. I held my breath and went to my journal.

Happy dancing smilies!!!! Guess I'll make sure I log off and then get to log on again...it had to be something with my journal and its settings, because I can see the animated smilies everywhere else.

Probably better for security, anyway.

go figure!!!
