Default 'Location' should be obligatory.

Dear friends,

I often find myself trying to answer questions about fibre and net carbs etc when I don't know where the person is located - this makes it very difficult as I'm sure you are aware there are different practices on either side of the Atlantic.

Vocabulary is another tricky area: soy or soya, zuchini or corgette, ground beef or minced beef and so on. Measurements are also a pain. Europe measures in grama, the USA in cups and so on.

Might I suggest that you make the 'location' box in the profile compulsory with country as a minimum requirement?

Robert, I think this is an excellent idea - also, that a conversion link would be a good thing to help with measurement conversions. I have a good conversion site and will edit to include the link in case this happens.

Edit - http://www.onlineconversion.com/ - I've found this link very helpful - and thanks to Zandria for leading me to it.
