Default Whoops, more advice!

Ok ok, one more question! I had a baby in December, so I know that accounts for a lot of it....but my skin is lose and flabby now that I've been on atkins for 2 months now. Does this go away? Under my arms and my tummy is loose skin. Has anyone else gone through this phase? (hopefully a phase!) Is there anything at all you can do about that? I love losing weight but don't wanna look scary when I'm done! I want to be firm and healthy, not loose and flabby. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks for the support guys!!!!

It does go away, but you really have to work with it - I found that doing crunches or situps helps tighten things up...but don't be hard on yourself, we ALL pretty much get the gooshy stomach after we have our babies!

Exercise is the only answer. Aerobic is good for general cardiac health and calorie loss but you will need specific exercises( crunches esp. on an exercise ball are great for the abs) and weight training for building muscle and firming your body. Years ago, when my son was a baby, I used to put him in the stroller and push him while I mall walked early in the a.m. for aerobic exercise. As he got a little older, I used to pack a lunch box with munchies and books, etc. to keep him busy as we walked. Good luck!
