Question Seem To Be Stuck

[FONT=Arial][COLOR=DarkRed][I]

Hi everyone:

I seem to be having a bump in the road. I have been on Atkins since February. I have lost 45 lbs. in the past (last January to April). Right now I feel like I am doing everything right but the scale is not moving. It very well may be my scale. I am going to buy a new one. I do feel a difference in my clothing but not what I think I should be seeing. I am still doing induction. The only thing over and above that is I am eating jello with Whipping cream which I have come to notice (re-reading the book) that it is allowed on induction. I have been drinking great quantities of water 13-15 glasses a day and am wondering if I am drowning myself and therefore retaining water. It seems last year when I lost the 45 lbs. it was very steady and coming off at between 2-3 lbs. a week. This time I have lost about 20 lbs. in total (some of which I gained back from last years loss). I am just wondering if anyone out there has come across the same bumps in their weight loss challenge. If so please drop me a line. Any suggestions welcomed with open arms.

Hope to hear from you soon, keep LCing.

Congrats on your weight loss Low carb really does work!

Don't run out for a new scale just yet! Are you measuring? You may be losing inches right now that are not reflected on the scale. It's also very common to have a bit of stall several weeks in. Just keep following the plan, and you'll see results!

Cheers!
