Default Carb ladder

Just wondering how quickly I am to climb the carb ladder? If I add in 5 grams of carbs a week, am I suppose to add in the same "group" for a certain amount of time, or should I be adding a new group each week?
Thanks in advance

You can do either...Atkins does say to not add a group in more than three times per week to start...so you could take two weeks on each step, adding it 3 times one week, then every day the next. It also depends on whether you are concerned about slowing your loss down too much. Do it the way you would like. The important thing is to add the carbs back in the order Atkins suggests, keeping an eye out for possible bad reactions...I had one today with cottage cheese.

It really depends on you. You might also find you have to skip some levels of the carb ladder. Some people can't tolerate dairy at all, and others can't seem to take fruit. OWL is a learning experience. You start to learn about your body, and soem of the thing syou took for granate before (like breakouts) you can actually trace to certain foods.

Just remember that weight loss slows at times anyway, so it might not always be a certain food is to blame. Just add new foods one at a time so you can pinpoint what food, or food group causes you problems. If soemthing seems to cause problems, eliminate it for a bit, then try introducing it a again. It could be something completely unrelated such as a virus that flared up the first time.
