Default Egg beaters in Induction

Are Egg beaters safe to use in induction? They have 1 gram of carbs 1 sugar. I looked in the ingrediants and it said 'gum' but the product is supposed to be 99% real egg. Does anyone know? Thanks.

I had egg beaters a few times. Truth is I was so used to low fat low cal that I learned to love the taste of egg beaters. It isnt as healthy for you as a real egg. I slowly began to incorporate real eggs into my diet and now I love them.

Why is it you dont want to eat real eggs?

I love real eggs. But when I started this diet I didn't quite fully grasp it and I thought they would be better and I purchased a case of egg beaters from SAMs wholesale and .... well... now I just hate to waste them. I don't mind the taste either I think they are great just not sure if it's best during induction. I had a set back with the carb bars (my own stupidity) in induction and I didn't want it to happen again...

I did use egg beaters on induction. I bought the southwestern style egg beaters, and mixed it with real eggs. I then cooked up sausage & added it in to the scrambled eggs, then I added cheese, and it tasted like McDonalds breakfast burrito without the shell, so of course that was YUMMY!

I lost weight VERY rapidly on induction, and the egg beaters did not hurt me ONE bit, of course I did MIX it with real eggs, and I did not use very much (1/8-1/4 cup ) Of course I am no expert, but I am someone who used them on induction, and did great

Well since you are stuck with em for a while, I would mix them with real eggs and fry in butter. I didnt stall or have any problems like that with them.

just real eggs are better. and free range eggs even better because of the omega 3s

I think eggbeaters are just egg whites with color added, which means less protein. Go for the real eggs as soon as you use up your supply of eggbeaters.

I used to buy the pure whites and those had less calories and carbs than the egg beaters and tasted better too. There is something else in egg beaters, some type of thickner I think. I just call it processed egg stuff. The southwestern is so yummy though! why cant I just crack a southwestern egg? Some mornings when I am rushing it would be so nice to have all those veggies diced nice in your egg without actually having to cut them yourself (I know I know)
