Default Isn't it funny how people talk out of both sides of their mouth...

I've decided to that I now feel confortable enough to tuck my shirt into my pants without feeling like a freak and people are coming out of the woodwork telling me how "skinny" I'm getting. Imagine that, being called skinny, HA! There's a woman at work that flips out every day about how I look and how she can't believe how much weight I've lost and in the same breath she's saying "yeah, but it's on that horrible diet". She a LF fanatic and swears that if fat passes your lips, your arteries are doomed. Funny thing though, she makes a daily trip to the peanut shop for chocolate covered pretzels. Yeah I can see how those are healthy for you, BAH!!!

You should walk around proudly with that shirt tucked in. You've come a long way!! Next time she says or even starts to go on about that "horrible diet" do what I do. Look at her and smile, then agree with her. "Your right, we all know Atkins doesn't work." Then just walk away. Really, what do you care about what she has to say anyway?

That cracks me up too! I was just talking about this same subject with a pal of mine who is also doing Atkins. My question is where were those people who feel so free to express how they feel about what I'm eating on Atkins when I was shoveling in the super size fries each day at lunch?
